Custo Barcelona took us on a beautiful journey, full of lavish coats, playful patterns, metallic silk and expertly mixed them with textured capes, wool mohair coats, jacquard and fur. Titled “Shake Before Use” Barcelona’s Fall/Winter 2015 collection, which previewed at Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week, embraced the traditional elements and layered his looks with pleats, flirty skirts, and lame blouses.

Some of the wool matte textures complement the brightness of the lamé. At times where you think there’s a darker tone to an ensemble, you get a peek of vibrancy underneath. There’s a great level of mysteriousness in this girl.  You want to be her, know her and party with her. She’s fun, smart, bold and full of delightful surprises.

We can all appreciate is the layers of patterns and splashes of colors he incorporates in his collection. One of the more outstanding pieces is Look 16.  The model wears this blue and green aztek blouse, navy fur thrown over the shoulder with sparks of red and wide leg cropped trousers with a hatch pattern in a bold mix of colors.
