Fast-fashion mass retailer, H&M has officially launched their first wedding dress, and not just ANY wedding dress – it’s one that costs only $99!
One the one hand, I see the appeal of purchasing an inexpensive, simple wedding dress.
– There’s more money in the pocket
– It will take up less space in the closet
– You’ll only wear it once
For the bride who wants her dress to be special and different from others, this probably won’t be the best fit for you.
One of my favourite go-to brands is BCBG Max Azria. I cannot live without at least one BCBG dress or outfit in my closet or travel bag. They have beautiful dresses for evenings, weekends, events, and some that might even suitable for weddings. No, really – they truly do.
During a stop into a BCBG Max Azria two summers ago, I witnessed a bride-to-be try on a beautiful white, tiered trumpet dress. She modelled it, checked every angle in the tri-fold mirror contemplating on buying it as a second wedding dress. I couldn’t blame her. It looked great, fit like a glove, and was on sale for under $200.
